Meet Stephanie
For as long as I can remember, my parents encouraged me to create. We were always making something- refinishing furniture, weaving baskets, sewing dresses, planting gardens, even remodeling houses. I developed an appreciation for craftsmanship and detail, and came to feel most at home in the middle of a project.
I went on to study Textiles and Apparel at Cornell University, then set out on a career in consumer marketing. I was lucky enough to work with amazing people on some truly iconic brands, all while developing an eye for consumer trends and an obsession with humans and how they live.
After returning to school to study Interior Design at Parsons School of Design, I began designing full time and soon launched Moontide Studio.
Moontide Studio brings together so many elements of my life & career — working hands on with materials, color, and texture, merging form and function, and most importantly, working with clients to solve for what matters the most to them. I love every aspect of this work - from diving into a family's needs to installing the final details in a space - and every little step that happens in between. A Moontide is an astronomical event when the ocean is at its extreme high or low tide. To us, a Moontide is an example of how beautiful a thing can be when taken to its full potential.
